Hi!
I had a problem to see some fonts, I saw just squares and I did:
rm /etc/fonts/conf.d/10-bitmaps.conf
ln -s /etc/fonts/conf.d/yes-bitmaps.conf /etc/fonts/conf.d/10-bitmap.conf
Fonts which I have now are different than before and they are ugly.
I did:
rm /etc/fonts/conf.d/10-bitmaps.conf
ln -s /etc/fonts/conf.d/no-bitmaps.conf /etc/fonts/conf.d/10-bitmap.conf
but fonts don't want to change and they are same still.

so that problem is solved?
If you want to make your fonts look better, you can use _Gandalf_'s configs (@_Gandalf_ thanks for sharing) you can find in this thread: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php? … ight=fonts

Nice topic, anyway. If this deals out as an example, I fear topics like "kernel", "package" and "install" rising.
In the end, we would just need one topic in the future ... "archlinux". ![]()

Yes and no... As I wrote before there a re no changes if I use yesy-bitmats.conf or no-bitmats.conf. Before I did use no-bitmats.conf and I had nice fonts...
