Headphones not being detected

I'm not able to get my headphones to work in Linux. They do work in Windows so it ought to be a configuration issue but I've having a lot of issues figuring this out. The headphones aren't working when they're connected though the front panel port nor the motherboard. In pavucontrol, with the profile Analog Stereo Output, headphones aren't listed as a device.
