Migrate from Yaourt to Pacaur [SOLVED]
Hi!
I'm currently using Yaourt, but I heard that Pacaur is cooler so I want to try that out instead.
Is there any way to make the migration less painfull than uninstalling all aur packages with Yaourt and reinstall them with Pacaur?

Yaourt and pacaur are just wrappers: you don't need to migrate anything...

To clarify, you have one package manager -- pacman. AUR helpers help you make packages from the AUR (or ABS), but ultimately they get installed by pacman.

Wow, really? I thought there would be source installation files left or something.
So it's really just to remove Yaourt and install Pacaur?

Or just install pacaur. Multiple AUR helpers can be installed simultaneously.

Make sure you sepnd some time reading the Wiki page on the AUR and man pages on pacman and makepkg: these are the building blocks of Arch and you should have a good understanding of how they work.
