sensors-detect from lm-sensors may have affected my monitor.

I have a Lenovo G50-80 and everything was fine until I went to set up lm-sensors.  I know I should have left it at the defaults, but I decided to try to probe i2c adapters. When it probed DPDDC-A (i2c-6), it went through a long list. During one of those probes, my monitor flickered a good bit and everything got brighter and more washed out. Now it's almost as if I can see the pixels. It's probably an optical illusion, but on big patches of color it's almost like they're dancing.

I've tried messing around with backlight brightness and xcalib, but nothing seems to work. I've run sensors-detect again to see if I can replciate it and I still get the screen flicker when I probe DPDDC-A. Any thoughts?
