Hello world !
Well hum, i want test Unity to create a game. (Yes, by unity i mean the game engine, not the desktop environment of ubuntu ^^)
On this page http://unity3d.com/unity/multiplatform , i can see that Unity Game Engine works with Linux/Steam OS but when i click on the button "Get Unity", i have two choices. Download Uniy for Windows Or Mac, but Linux is absent. xD
This is a joke or Unity doesn't works on GNU/Linux ?

What do you mean it "works with linux." All I see on those pages are claims that completed games written in unity can be deployed on linux - along with android, iOS, and game systems. I see no claims that the developer tools can run on linux (or on android, iOS, or playstation).

Ok, if i understand, Unity allows to create a game for many platform like Linux but, the tool is available only for Windows and Mac OSX ?
Else, the linux-user must install Wine to use Unity.

Unity only exports to Linux, you can't develop yet on Linux with Unity3D but Leadworks is supposedly coming.
Unreal Engine 4 has a beta editor you can try out.

Now if Unity and Adobe CC were available I'd call it a day and switch full time but until then well... Stuck on Windows, and it'll be 5-10 years before every AAA game comes to Linux, it's happening now but it'll be within this time frame that I see it truly happening. And there's also drivers to think about, when that also happens driver support on Linux gets better, Nouveau while a good driver I prefer official drivers from Nvidia as well they're official.
