Hi Folks,
I configured quota und polipo as suggested in the Wiki and everything works fine.
Now I want to figure out how to start up polipo at boot and run it as its own user,
so it is avaible when I use it with my main user.
How do I tell systemd to start polipo as user polipo at boot (or at the correct target).
Thanks in advance
Max

Just enable the systemd service. As far as I can see, the post install script creates the polipo user and the service file specified with Arch runs it as the "polipo" user.
See here: https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit … ges/polipo

Ok I see. Where would I find such scripts in other packages - or where would I have to look next time Iam not sure as wich user a package would run?
And how do I set this thread to solved?

You can see all files related to an installed package using
$ pacman -Ql <pkgname>
This will list the service files as well. You can inspect the service file to see which user the service would run as.
As for setting the thread as solved, edit your first post and add [solved] to the title of the post.
