ACPI group/action undefined: jack/headphone / HEADPHONE

Hi folks,

somehow my soundcard always fails to send sound via the headphone jack after first or reboot, I always have to unplug and replug my sound cable to get sound from my external speakers.

When un- and replugging the cable dmesg gives me:

ACPI group/action undefined: jack/headphone / HEADPHONE

I found exatly the same problem in a post from 2012, not solving my problem, so I start a new topic in hope for a solution.

Did someone solve this problem ?

Re: ACPI group/action undefined: jack/headphone / HEADPHONE

Not an answer, but that message is simply acpid's default handler.sh indicating that you didn't handle that event there. That is not a problem and you should update at least the title to reflect your actual problem.

It might be helpful to add whether you use things like pulseaudio.
