Gtk themes looks fine in Cinnamon, but ugly in Gnome3

Some GTK themes looks fine in Cinnamon, but ugly in Gnome3. For example, Faience.
A have Murrine and Unice engines installed.  I choose theme using gnome-tweak-tool.

How can I fix look of GTK themes in Gnome3?

Re: Gtk themes looks fine in Cinnamon, but ugly in Gnome3

Your question is somewhat hard to follow: What version of gtk are the themes you're using? Are you unhappy with the way the Gnome Shell handles the window decorations, or the items themselves? What does ugly mean?

Have you checked this out?

Maybe include some screenshots to illustrate the problem?

What version of gtk are the themes you're using?

aur/faience-themes 0.7-1 [installed] (3)
GTK3, GTK2, Metacity and Gnome-Shell themes based on Faenza

Are you unhappy with the way the Gnome Shell handles the window decorations, or the items themselves?

Support Gnome 3.10 only / needs Murrine (GTK2) and Unico (GT3) engines to work properly.

community/gtk-engine-murrine 0.98.2-2 [installed]
community/gtk-engine-unico 1.0.2-6 [installed]

http://askubuntu.com/questions/158690/a … nome-shell

check whether or not you have this installed:

pacman -Qs gtk-theme-switch2

It would seem that the new theme is using "remnants" from the old theme when changing (from what I gather from the above link)
