[SOLVED] Manually install application

I am trying to install the application found here: http://www.providesupport.com/downloads/linux.html

This app is not in the official repositories or the AUR so I will have to install it manually.

I'm ok with installing programs from the AUR but this one has left me stumped.

There is an install script that was provided from this download http://download.providesupport.com/oper … -amd64.tgz but I am not quite sure where to go from here.

The README says to just run the script but executing install just returns:

install: missing file operand

I assume 'install' is a default Arch program which is not the same as the provided script.

Clicking the file from the desktop just causes Arch to ask for an application to run the program.

Any thoughts or assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

EDIT - My apologies, I figured it out.  I had to prepend the sh command before the text install.
