ion3 + psi = docklet problem

Tell me please, how can I use psi docklet with ion3.

When I switch it on, best result that I reached is black window in dock with no icon.

All other apps (such as xxkb, sim, wmmp) works fine with ion's dock.

It uses the gnome systray protocol, thus it wont ever be supported.

As I understand, the single way to solve this problem is patching ion or psi.

Am I right?

I think that psi patching is simplier...

Or may be someone advise me another jabber client like psi?

No solution apart from rewriting psi's sys tray icon to use the KDE protocol (dont ask me how), or adding support for the gnome protocol to ion3 (again, dont ask me)

however there are some odd dockapps on dockapps.org that work as systrays and should accept gnome apps...
