Desktop, programs acting weird after installing Catalyst driver

Hey!
I'm new to the forum and need some help with my system. I recently installed the Catalyst driver instead of the open source one. Im currently using a R9 280x graphics card. I think i did everything as the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AMD_Catalyst) but after a restart i ran into tty but with the help of some commands i cant remeber i got back into the system. Im using kde 4 btw. The problem is that i experience heavy screen tearing when dragging windows and the GUI is slow overall. It also seems like i cant open some programs which i could before, steam, konsole (not xterm tho), kate etc.

I ran glxinfo and got this:

I also tried to reinstall the catalyst package and i saw this:

- /usr/lib/modules/3.19.2-1-ARCH looks like unused, maybe remove it manualy?

It's a bit half swedish, i'm working on that, hope you can understand anyway.

Should i post any more logs or do you have any ideas?

I am also getting this same error and the exact same problems. If anyone could help us out that would be awesome. Error I'm recieving

Personally I feel like it has something to do with the fglrx module not being loaded, and that is probably due to this failing or something. Still a linux newbie so this is just my best guess.

So I did some more tinkering around and somehow got it working. All I did was remove everything I installed with the arch wiki catalyst guide. You will probably have to use the pacman -Rdd command due to some dependency issues, but that's okay and even if this doesn't work the dependencies will be fulfilled by the open source drivers if you need to reinstall those. See the very last part of the article about uninstalling it to see what I'm talking about. After I removed everything installed for catalyst I just started over from the beginning again with a clean slate. The only difference though is that I installed everything outside of an X environment. When I reinstalled everything with the X server killed the module that wouldn't build had no trouble building and installed without any problems. So basically remove everything kill the X server and start the process again without starting you're GUI, reboot and see if that works. No rationale as to why but it worked for me. Good luck!
