[SOLVED] Razer Blade (2015 model) - boot problems.

I tried installing Arch on my 2015 Blade and ran into a strange problem. It would boot fine the first time, but after a reboot, it would completely freeze right after the bootloader. All it managed to output was "loading initial ramdisk..." and then it would sit there doing nothing.
I also tried installing Debian Jessie, and ran into the same issue.

The interesting thing is, all live-cd/usb type distros boot up from the removable media and work fine 100% of the time, which leads me to believe there might be some nasty issues going on with the bootloader because of UEFI.

Do you have a Razer Blade? Have you ran into this issue and how did you fix it?

UPDATE: the problem was solved by waiting until a newer version of the kernel was available

I've found something interesting. Here are my steps:

1. Install arch from live usb
2. Reboot, it reboots fine
3. Reboot again, this time it's stuck at "loading initial ramdisk"
4. Boot again from live usb and reboot imediately without doing anything. Installed system boots fine.

I've tried this several times. It seems like the installed system boots fine after booting one time from the Arch live usb, but becomes unbootable after rebooting itself... I'm not really sure what's going on here.

It also seems to work after I boot into Windows and restart. So, my conclusion is, something goes wrong during shutdown, the problem prevents the installed arch from booting, however it is somehow fixed by booting into a healthy OS - until it gets broken again...

Post the output of:

lsblk
# parted -l
# efibootmgr -v

Seemed to have something to do with the kernel. I tried again after a few months with a newer kernel and it just worked.
