Hi all,
Currently i have installed archlinux with xfce4 on my laptop, but my laptop have VGA intel and ATI display controller, when i install xf86-video-intel then when i'm in xfce4 or slim, switching to virtual terminal cause my screen to flicker violently then disapear, it may reappear when i move my mouse but it keep flashing. The problem gone when i'm install the xf86-video-ati, but i want to use the intergrated intel card to save power . Have been looking around but still found no solution yet.
my lspci
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Broadwell-U Integrated Graphics (rev 09)
04:00.0 Display controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Opal XT [Radeon R7 M265] (rev ff)
Thanks

And there's a lot more than that. While they all describe slightly different things, the cause is the same - Intel driver bug. Use the lts kernel for now.
