Dmix not working...
Hi guys. I'm not a complete Poettering hater (as I do think systemd is good), but I'm avoiding PulseAudio like the plague. I know dmix is supposed to allow mixing on cards like Intel HDA (what I have), but it isn't working. I followed the instructions in the wiki and manually enabled dmix by editing /etc/asound.conf, but the sound issues continue. Has anyone else had this problem?

"Sound issues continue" is too vague. Be more descriptive of the problem. Also, see info-packed file in my sig.

I solved the issue myself while waiting for a reply, turned out to be a PEBCAK. But thanks anyway mate, checking out the links in your sig.
