GNOME Shell on Acer C720/Toshiba CB30 - Disable touchpad while typing?

I'm running GNOME Shell 3.16.2 on a Toshiba CB30 Chromebook (basically the same as the original Acer C720) and I can't figure out how to get the touchpad to disable while I'm typing. I keep hitting it with my palm and it's driving me crazy!

Any ideas? I couldn't find anything in the C720 thread.

The touchpad uses the cyapapt module.

Have you looked at the wiki? ... xf86-input-cmt-xorg

Also there's a setting in Gnome to disable button press when typing but since 3.16 I can't find it anymore although it's still working, seem like Gnome developers screw the config of this feature as they did with the touchpad enable config, try to open the mouse setting window in a Wayland session through GDM and see if it's available there.
But you should be aware that it isn't palm rejection, it just disable the touchpad buttons while typing, you would still be annoyed (but much less).
