I have a Canon MG7530 printer on the home network and have been trying to get the scanner to work.
CUPS detects the printer after I installed the packages mentioned here http://yuntan-t.hateblo.jp/entry/2014/12/20/230517, SANE seems to have experimental support but only through the USB, not over the network.
The author of the blog post also packaged scangearmp, Canon's tool for scanners, but it also only seems to be USB only; I don't have a USB cable for this so I wasn't able to check.
Any ideas?
