Speaker doesn't work properly

Hello guys,

I don't remember since when... but after a while, when I turn on my laptop, the speakers stop workings.

To be clear:
1- Turn on laptop
2- Play some mp3
3- After a minute approximately, pavucontrol shows: Speakers (unavailable)

If a reboot the laptop, then will has the same behaviour.

Ideas?

I found some posts related to similar problems... but none of them helped me to solve my issue.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Speaker doesn't work properly

Have you tried with

sudo pacman -S alsa-utils

and then use

alsamixer

use the M key to unmute the channels you need, try to get them in 0 value
then you can use

speaker-test -c x

where x is the number of speakers you have, usually 2 works just fine, if you don't listen anything with the speaker test, go bak to alsamixer

#include <iostream> using namespace std; int main(){
while(lifes>0){  /*Goals here*/  lifes--; }  return 0; }
