hello!
i'm having trouble building GCC needed to compile sabermod-toolchains for building android. link: SaberMod. it's an awesome project and it would be great to make it build on arch.
the persistent error message is about the absensce of libgmp.la. it is not present in the core gmp 6.0.0-2 package, nor in any aur packages relating to gmp or libgmp.
i did locate the libgmp.la files in the libgmp-dev package from the ubuntu repo but have had no success installing it.
any help would be appreciated.
i'm new to arch and am glad to have joined the community!

rebuild the gmp package with the 'libtool' option in the PKGBUILD.

why are you building gcc? Installing ours is enough.

the build script downloads the latest corresponding gcc version to build the arm toolchain. here's an example build script: arm-linux-androideabi-4.9
rebuild the gmp package with the 'libtool' option in the PKGBUILD.
so i downloaded the official gmp package and the source files .
i added to PKGBUILD:
..
license=('LGPL3' 'GPL')
options=('libtool')
install=gmp.install
..worked!
