[Solved] LibreOffice and autocorrect

HI

Something really annoying when I write in LibreOffice is that I cannot write 'i', it always correct it to 'I'. In english this is correct, but in Danish it is wrong. I cannot figure it out, any idea?

Regards
Frederik

Have you tried to set the spellchecker to Danish? Turning off the spellchecker disables the i to I behaviour, so my guess is that the Danish spellchecker will do the same.

Hi,  Install the Danish language pack and set it as your default dictionary for spell checking. Sorry for no links but phone is refusing to paste them!

I actually have it set to Danish, but it does not work:

Re: [Solved] LibreOffice and autocorrect

Hmm, a quick test with libreoffice-fresh set to a Dutch dictionary also does this. A quick search suggested to remove i from the autocorrect list [1]. This seems to work for my Dutch dictionary, however, it will also mean that English will not autocorrect i anymore.

Somehow, the English autocorrect is also used when using other languages.
