Hii, Can someone please upload here or something the PKGBUILD and install of this new PATCH for kernel 2.6.16?
I know how to do it myself, but it seem I get some problems in a while, and I will like to see a good example of a build one so I can use it with my config files.
Tanx. :?:

Errr...just wait until it is put in testing and look at the build files in CVS.
Or, simply look at the the build files for kernel26archck in [extra] and make the changes yourself - it's not rocket science.

Possibly easier - find kernel26archck here, and click "View CVS Entries".
You might also want to glance over the latest kernel26 build in the testing repo - some changes have been made which will probably be added to archck also.

just wait a little while. or take a good close look at archck2's patches and you'll see.

Tanx, why to wait more?

Because it's not ready. I don't care if it works for you, I'm the maintainer, and I deem it not ready as there are other things that probably dont affect you but still need to be done.
And those who want another reason:
take a good close look at archck2's patches (ie, broken out) and you'll see.

EAD, you gotta watch it. You already had people ganging up on you for your behavior here. Packages come out when they are ready, stop constantly pestering maintainers. Besides, build your own and be done with it if you are so inclined.

look iphitus ,I really really love your job
I know you are working hard on it to make it as good as posiible, and it's great :!:
but, if you are kindely will, then putting it on the testing so guys like me could try it, and give us a pkgbuild, will only make it nicer, it doesn't mean you have too, but I will really like it much

It takes up to and occasionally more than half an hour to build a package. I have stated over and over that there are known problems in this package, that I would need to fix first before uploading it. And lastly, I have been slaving away on this, and a revamped mkinitramfs all day.
2.6.16-beyond1.

Package will be in the repos tommorow morning along with new mkinitramfs.
