Seems like a fix is coming soon upstream: Linux Today: Google Chrome Gets Update to Fix the Annoying Scaling Regression on Linux

I'm still getting blurry tabs and font issues after trying the fixes in this thread with chromium-43.0.2357.125-2. Is the upstream fix included in that version?

The bug that I assume that blurb referred to is being reported as still an issue/not fixed. Also, the high dpi issue linked earlier in this thread is not closed yet.
This has affected me on 3 out of 4 of my Linux machines; even a laptop with a single 1280x800 display was affected. So far, forcing my displays to 96 dpi (xrandr --dpi 96) has fixed the issue everywhere for me.

Ah thanks for the info. The xrandr fix didn't work, so I guess I'll wait for an upstream fix.
