UnExpected Shutdown/Lock

I am seeing strange unexpected behavior at random intervals, even when I boot the lts kernel. My screen will go black, and the computer will stop responding. I can not switch VT (terminals, CTRL-ALT-F[1-9]) and ethernet interfaces are not pingable. Also not seeing anything in journal.

Any ideas on what to try?
