LG S1 Express Dual, radeon problem??

Hello!
First, sorry for my english, is not very good. It is my first message here. I don't know if this message go here or in newbie corner...
Well, I have an old notebook LG S1 Express Dual, with Radeon Mobility X1600 (with opensource drivers) and Intel Corporation NM10/ICH7 Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02), with Realtek ALC880.
The problem is with flash videos in firefox (flash 11.2). The system apparently sounds good and youtube for example in small screen mode works and sounds good, but when i set fullscreen the audio is a little bit slow, distorted and with clicks. At other web pages with flash videos, the sound is bad in small screen too.
I tryed all I found in www, forums, and now at this forum....is posssible i searching with wrong words (and ideas) and not found the solution, but i lost much time and days trying to solve that, and i don't had lucky....
I tryed a lot of distros of Linux and all have the same problem, but Arch with xfce is very good and fast on this notebook compared with others, is the best, i like it!!
I need help to say goodbye XP...
Thank you!!!
Edit. I missed to say: in other distros boot with nomodeset solved the problem, in arch i don't know how to start with nomodeset option...when i type nomodeset in grub, says nomodeset not found, or something similar. But with that option i had a bad resolution screen, is not possible to set the good resolutios for the screen.

Re: LG S1 Express Dual, radeon problem??

Oh....the problem is solved!!! But, is really strange...a strange problem with a strange answer....
I have thought...i go to try with vesa driver, to see if runs better. Well, when i installed the system, i installed xf86-video-ati package, and now, i unisntalled it with "sudo pacman -Rns xf86-video-ati". I re-typed the command: sudo pacman -Rns xf86-video-ati
[sudo] password for linux:
error: destino no encontrado: xf86-video-ati
Not found, is clear.
Before install vesa driver I have thought, what happen now without ati driver?? And i type "startxfce4"...surprise...nothing was changed, xfce starts normally. Then, glxgears: runs ok, but with 60 fps, as usual. Then glxinfo:
display: :0  screen: 0
direct rendering: Yes
server glx vendor string: SGI
server glx version string: 1.4
OpenGL vendor string: X.Org R300 Project
OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on ATI RV530
OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 10.6.0
OpenGL shading language version string: 1.20
And then lspci -v:
VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] RV530/M56-P [Mobility Radeon X1600] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
Subsystem: LG Electronics, Inc. Device 0067
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 31
    Memory at c0000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
    I/O ports at 2000 [size=256]
    Memory at d8000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K]
[virtual] Expansion ROM at d8020000 [disabled] [size=128K]
    Capabilities: <access denied>
    Kernel driver in use: radeon
    Kernel modules: radeon
I'm very very new to Linux, but all seems ok (or not).
Then, the flash on firefox: Youtube, in fullscreen and set to HD 720p (incredible, i only have 1Gb Ram), runs well, audio good, no problems!!! And then, in another problematic spanish web with flash videos and horrible sound...ALL OK!!
I searching and trying things for near 2 months and the solution is that??? I don't understand nothing.
I wait for an answer of advanced user to explain this.
Thanks!!
