Idle CPU temperature under Dell XPS 13 (2015 model)

I'm running Arch under Dell XPS 13 (2015) with an i7-5500U CPU. When the system is idling the CPU temperatures given by 'sensors' is +50 degree Celsius. That is a bit too much  for my taste... I've expected something in the 30 degree area... Are there other XPS 13 (2015 model) users who can share their CPU temperatures?

Thanks!

How cold do you keep your room?   50C is only about 25 to 30C gradient from T sub J to room ambient.  That is pretty reasonable for an i7.  Expecting a 7C rise from the junctions to room ambient is not reasonable.  I cannot even achiever that with an Atom processor running at 4Watts

My room is about 25C but in the same room is also a Shuttle system (with Arch, obviously smile) with an  i7-4770S whose temperature is between 28C-31C. Of course the heat pipe and fan are working silently. My XPS 13 is completely silent.

My i7 ASUS laptop idles at 45C when room temp is around 31C and at 40C ambient it shoots up to 48C max.
