Nvidia base mosaic: 3 monitors on one Xorg screen does not work

...while it does without problems on windows!

I have followed the instructions here. The log above shows me using "DVI-I-x" instead of "DFP-x", but I tried both and neither works.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong? Or is nvidia's linux support just that bad?

Just a guess but have you tried changing the order of the GPU like so ?

GPU-0.DVI-I-2: 1920x1080+0+0, GPU-0.DVI-I-3: 1920x1080 3200+0, GPU-1.DVI-I-2: 1280x1024+1920+60

Yes, that doesn't change anything, sadly. I've found a thread about it on nvidia forums that doesn't have any replies (surprise, right?). It seems that the linux driver won't allow you to use different cards for base mosaic. Even your link mentions "2 or 4 identical GPUs" only.
Yet, it works totally fine on windows. So, tyvm, nvidia, once again. I think I might try AMD next time.
