I've installed cups, ghostscript and gsfonts, along with samba. I've enabled both the cups printing and searching services through systemctl and downloaded both the Unified Driver from the AUR and Samsung's Linux printer/scanner driver from their website.I've set it up is hosts as myprinter, as outlined in CUPS. It pings fine, I can manage it through SyncThru etc. I can add a JetPrinter and then select my driver in GNOME (Samsung SCX-3400 Series), or add the LPD version and do the same. Both print black pages. This is very annoying. My iMac and my dual-booted Windows print just fine. I might have installed one too many mismatching drivers. I am connected through power-line to my router, which has a built in print server.
I would really appreciate any help and I understand that there aren't a lot of troubleshooting experiences with CUPS!
