Hi everyone,
I have a D-Link WDA-1320 wireless card I am trying to use on my desktop. As far as I can tell, ath5k is the proper driver to use, and that is what udev guessed and tried. Unfortunately it does not get registered as a wireless card, though it appears in lspci and dmesg:
04:05.0 Ethernet controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR5211 Wireless Network Adapter [AR5001X 802.11ab] (rev 01)
Subsystem: D-Link System Inc Device 3a15
Kernel modules: ath5k[ 3.260703] ath5k 0000:04:05.0: enabling device (0000 -> 0002)
[ 3.260816] ath5k 0000:04:05.0: registered as 'phy0'
[ 3.278373] ath5k: phy0: failed to wakeup the MAC Chip
[ 3.278508] ath5k: probe of 0000:04:05.0 failed with error -5Nothing shows up in rfkill, and removing and reloading the module hasn't helped. I tried googling the problem but mostly all I got was a bunch of old bug reports, most of which were fixed by 'waiting for the next update', or weren't fixed at all. Any idea what I can do or should try?
