[SOLVED] All my images and some text shows up corrupted

All the images including my wallpaper and everything online shows up in a weird warped effect including some text.

I've been told it may have something to do with having a none monospaced font but Im using fc-match with I believe is monospaced.

What is your graphics hardware?  If it is Intel then the first thing to try is to switch to the UXA backend instead of the default SNA.  I'm sure you can find that yourself on the Wiki.
