Cannot compile newsbeuter using makepkg.

I am able to compile it by cloning manually and using make. But while using makepkg it complains about missing header files. I am including makepkg output here.

Why are you compling it manually? Why not install it from the community repository?

Builds just fine here - all those missing headers are included in the git checkout. I suggest you delete everything from the build directory and start again, so you get a fresh checkout.

works but

makepkg -s

doesn't. I can't figure out why. I ran make inside the $srcdir/newsbeuter and it worked.

I compiled using make and installed it using

makepkg -sei

. So I am marking it as solved.

Well, you didn't - and that's just as well, because your problem still exists.

Is there a particular upcoming feature or bugfix in the git build that you need? Just curious, I don't even use it myself.

@tomk, community repo has the latest stable release that was in February. It had bugs that caused segfaults in podbeuter and there has not been any stable release after that bug fix.https://github.com/akrennmair/newsbeuter/releases
