Have problems launching this game, first it complained about missing libopenal which I solved by installing it.
Then it said how libSDL2_image-2.0.so.0 is missing, I've installed it, however it still says :
/steamapps/common/XCom-Enemy-Unknown/binaries/linux/../../binaries/linux/game.x86_64: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL2_image-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryand clearly it's installed :
$ locate libSDL2_image-2.0.so.0

Actually 64-bit version of libsdl2-image was needed, so that solved that, but still it won't launch, doesn't say why though.

Ah, weird problem it was, but I'm gonna post the solution if anyone gets this problem in the future.
It was the space in the path that was making the problem, if you install it in default directory then there's no problem, but if you are installing on different partition and the name of dir is "Steam Library" for example, then it's not going to work.
"SteamLibrary" would work though ![]()
