Hi,
An update to both ffmpeg and libx264 today as left my system unable to upgrade.
pacman -Syu returns:
:: Synchronizing package databases...
core is up to date
extra is up to date
community is up to date
multilib is up to date

looking for conflicting packages...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: ffmpeg: requires libx264.so=144-64pacman -Ss libx264 returns:
extra/libx264 2:148.20150717-1 [installed: 2:144.20150223-1]
Library for encoding H264/AVC video streamsIs it just a matter of waiting for the mirrors to update or is there more to this?
EDIT: Indeed a couple of hours later everything updates along with a few more packages.

Just wait for your mirrors to sync: https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/ffmpeg/ or use mirrors that have already synced, like I do :-)
