Hi,
I've never gotten hibernate working on here, and it has recently started to bug me, so I've been trying to sort it out. I was originally using a swap partition with 2G, and 4G of ram, and assumed that that was causing the crash, but I've switched to a swapfile with 4G and I'm getting the same errors. It attempts to hibernate, the screen shuts off, then comes back on, and begins displaying some errors. The first are atax: softreset failed (1st FIS failed), and eventually I get a long stream of "Readerror on swap device". Eventually it hangs, requiring a hard shutdown, but appears fine on reboot (though it doesn't resume the session). Any thoughts on what's going on here? Is there a good way for me to collect more debug information while it attempts to hibernate?

More information required. Hardware? What kind of filesystem is your swap file on? How did you set it up?
As for diagnostics, everything relevant ends up in dmesg and/or the systemd journal.
