[Solved] Virtualbox 5 kernel modules

Hi everybody,

I installed virtualbox 5 (after having uninstalled the previous 4.x version). At the end of the install, I get the following message:

==> To compile/load virtualbox modules automatically at startup you can add dkms in your DAEMONS
==
==> To build and install your modules run dkms autoinstall

When I run

sudo dkms autoinstall

I get the following error:

dkms.conf: Error! No 'DEST_MODULE_LOCATION' directive specified.
dkms.conf: Error! No 'PACKAGE_NAME' directive specified.
dkms.conf: Error! No 'PACKAGE_VERSION' directive specified.
Error! Bad conf file.
File:
does not represent a valid dkms.conf file.

Any guess on how to fix that issue?

Thanks a lot,
D.

Check that AUR page?

VB5 in the community repo installed fine and is working.

VirtualBox from community is working, but can't recognize my USB gadgets (printer, scanner). It was complaining about the Extension Pack, so I installed the virtualbox-ext-oracle from AUR. It stopped complaining, but can't see my USB stuff. Any ideas?

SOLVED: I forgot putting my user in the Virtualbox groups.
