I use hostapd to run QCA9880 and AR9390 adapters in the AP mode.
QCA9880 runs at 5GHz 802.11ac mode without issues, yet.
But AR9390 has an issue at 2.5GHz 802.11n mode - hostapd starts without errors but then there's no expected SSID in the air. However I can run QCA9880 with the config from the AR9390 and then SSID is on its place in the air. So, the hostapd config seems correct, here it is:

RTM_NEWLINK is the last message from the hostapd, then it keeps silence until I stop it.
Please help me to resolve this issue with the AR9390 adapter in the AP mode.

Did anyone ever figure this out. I am having pretty much the same exact issues except with a QCA988X and an AR928X based cards. It stops after some RTM_NEWLINK messages and it appears as though the wireless is non-existant.
I also have the same message about:
nl80211: Frame command failed: ret=-16 (Device or resource busy) (freq=2412 wait=0)
