Connman not connecting to wireless networks

I've been trying to get connman to connect to any sort of wireless network, encrypted or no and for the life of me I can't make it happen.  This is what I see when I use connmanctl

connmanctl> state
  State = online
  OfflineMode = False
  SessionMode = False

So connman is on.  Then I lookup the current wifi network and attempt to connect

connmanctl> scan wifi
Scan completed for wifi
connmanctl> services

But when I try to connect, I get this

connmanctl> connect wifi_4c809375e9a5_4861796573_managed_psk
Connected wifi_4c809375e9a5_4861796573_managed_psk

So I check to see if there is a connected session going....

connmanctl> state
  State = online
  OfflineMode = False
  SessionMode = False

No session going, so I try to connect again and I get this 

connmanctl> connect wifi_4c809375e9a5_4861796573_managed_psk
Error /net/connman/service/wifi_4c809375e9a5_4861796573_managed_psk: In progress

I've tried researching on the almighty Google but without much success.  Can anyone step in and lend a hand?

I'm having the same problem with a fresh install.  grumbles2014, did you ever figure out what was wrong?
