Shadow exclude compton not working. (gtk3 application) [SOLVED]

I tried an option as suggested in the forums but it isnt working the glitch seems to still effect gtk3 applications

the option was:
shadow-exclude = [ "n:e:Notification", "_GTK_FRAME_EXTENTS@:c" ];

is there are way to fix this problem without removing compton shadow?

I always seem to fix the issue after I post derp

The fix was in the gtk widget settings itself rather than comptons config.

Shadow exclude has been rendered no longer needed thanks to this.
