VMWare Player fullscreen?

I've followed the wiki guide using the official VMTool route : https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VM … ware_Tools

And finished the last line without any errors:

Log in and start the VMware Tools:
# /etc/init.d/rc6.d/K99vmware-tools start

Now when I try to re-size the window it still won't re-size, it still stays at the default size?

Is anyone running VMWare with Arch Linux able to get the screen to resize?

I've ticked 3D Acceleration and when starting up it hangs on start-up with this being ticked on.

Any ideas?
