Traffic control and transsmision

Hello,

I got a desire to make transmission work only when my modem (ppp) is connected. So i want to force it to use ppp interface and never eth0  for torrents. Although i need eth0 to connect with my LAN network because I  want transmission to write files on\into NAS server which is connected via eth0. Can I ask for a hand here?
( I'm not sure where i need to look for answer, hope it's not iptables )
