How to set dark theme in MySQL Workbench

I'm using Adwaita theme with Global Dark Theme on. I read on this bug report that

On Linux, the "WB_FORCE_SYSTEM_COLORS" environment variable was
added. Enabling this variable (with a value of 1) will disable
MySQL Workbench from using its own color scheme.
 Example usage: "export WB_FORCE_SYSTEM_COLORS=1".
This is useful for certain conditions, like when using the
 HighContrastInverse or GnomishDark system themes.

but this had no affect on my system.

People on other distros have had varying levels of success such as here and here.

Anybody run dark theme in workbench on Arch? If so, how did you manage it?

Thanks

Re: How to set dark theme in MySQL Workbench

I would try with some other dark them instead of Adwaita dark first to see if it(WB_FORCE_SYSTEM_COLORS) at least work and if it does i would look at why Adwaita Dark specifically does not

I don't think theme itself does anything with the environment variable.
