[SOLVED] VLC upgrade totally funked up

Just upgraded vlc (v1.0.0-5) and it is very strange. It is using the skins interface, and there's some little windows with it that are frozen (can't see buttons or anything on them), if I hit preferences on the skinned window it will very slowly open up the preferences window, where random text is visible, and it's only a matter of seconds until it crashes with segfault. I also renamed my ~/.vlc to test if it was anything in there, but same result.. It has also crashed X a couple times.

Perhaps there are missing files...libass and enca..............

These are in aur extra...libass as a pkgbuild....

Ohh, I tried those both and it said they are already installed, however I reinstalled both anyway and now VLC is working properly. Thanks a lot
