CS:GO artifacting.

I am currently running the xf86-video-ati driver and using an AMD R9 280X.

Whenever I play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive I get visual artifacts everywhere and occasionally everything freezes, preventing me from using a tty.

Has anyone encountered the same problem?

Hello,

Can you:

$ cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-radeon.conf

If you don't have one, have a look at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ATI#Configuration

Can you share your settings in the game, i.e. resolution and effects and what FPS do you experience with the mesa drivers? Also, do you have lag spikes?

Re: CS:GO artifacting.

20-radeon.conf contains:

Section "Device"
    Identifier "Radeon"
    Driver "radeon"
EndSection

Also, my fps is about 35 with ANY settings.
