Hey guys, hope somebody could give me a hand with this. Whenever I try to install a gem it ask for my sudo password, this is the output from 'gem env':
RubyGems Environment:
- RUBYGEMS VERSION: 2.4.5
- RUBY VERSION: 2.2.2 (2015-04-13 patchlevel 95) [x86_64-linux]
- INSTALLATION DIRECTORY: /usr/lib/ruby/gems/2.2.0
- RUBY EXECUTABLE: /usr/bin/ruby
- EXECUTABLE DIRECTORY: /usr/bin
- SPEC CACHE DIRECTORY: /home/miguel/.gem/specs
- SYSTEM CONFIGURATION DIRECTORY: /etc
- RUBYGEMS PLATFORMS:
- ruby
- x86_64-linux
- GEM PATHS:
- /usr/lib/ruby/gems/2.2.0
- /home/miguel/.gem/ruby/2.2.0
- GEM CONFIGURATION:
- :update_sources => true
- :verbose => true
- :backtrace => false
- :bulk_threshold => 1000
- "gem" => "--user-install"
- REMOTE SOURCES:
- https://rubygems.org/
- SHELL PATH:
- /home/miguel/.gem/ruby/2.2.0/bin
- /home/miguel/.gem/ruby/2.2.0/bin
- /usr/local/sbin
- /usr/local/bin
- /usr/bin
- /usr/lib/jvm/default/bin
- /usr/bin/site_perl
- /usr/bin/vendor_perl
- /usr/bin/core_perl
- /home/miguel/.bin
acording to it the gems are installed both in my home and in /usr/lib/ruby/gems/2.2.0, so I've changed the owner of the gems folder to myself [maybe a bad idea?] but it still ask for the sudo passowrd. What can I do?

You can specify --user-install to gem to prevent installing to system-wide directory. Or add this option to ~/.gemrc
