Mixtrack quad device and volume control.

Though there are many similar posts on this forum, none are quite the same and none of the solutions have worked. I've recently installed Arch and some LXDE packages along with it. I have a USB audio device which is detected as the primary sound card. The audio is working but I have no way of controling the volume. It outputs at 100% continuously. Alsamixer detects the device but says that it doesn't have any controls. Volwheel says that it's unable to find the PCM control and volumeicon doesn't output anything, it just runs until I tell it to stop. All I'd like is to change the volume going into this device, adjusting some sort of master volume would be fine. Thanks in advance.

Re: Mixtrack quad device and volume control.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that this is the Mixtrack Quad device by Numark. The website claims that no driver installation is required and I've never had to install drivers for it before. I've used it with CentOS before and I was able to control the volume.
