ASUS UX305 Automatically going into Standby

I haven't set any power saving profiles as of yet but I found the device went into standby mode shortly after closing the lid.

I do not wish this behaviour as I wish to control it myself.

Does anyone know if this behaviour is controlled by the BIOS and how can I stop it?

NB. This is not systemd/logind.conf related as I'm still on sysv
