Hello there,
I'm sure hundreds of people have had this issue before me, but I can't find anything relevant on the Internet. ![]()
I've recently installed mpd and ncmpcpp. I struggled a bit but everything looks fine : my mpd log shows lines saying `added sometrack.mp3` and `client: [0] opened from local` whenever I launch ncmpcpp. And, when lauching ncmpcpp, the status line at the bottom of the screen reads `Connected to /path/to/my/mpd/socket`.
However, no tracks are displayed. I wondered whether this was the default behavior of ncmpcpp, but it seems it is not.
Now, the question is, where is my mistake, and how do I fix this? Thanks a lot for your help, this is my first post here, except for the Hello topic. ![]()

Oh, come on. ![]()
I haven't set up my tty keyboard correctly yet (I wanted to do it with some music
) and kept pressing Shift+4, which is the way you get a '4' on an Azerty keyboard, to get to the library... PEBKAC.
I feel very dumb right now.
Thanks for your help!
