If I start by saying that this wouldn't happend if I had not been playing around with gimp and some of the arch logos which happen a couple of days ago. The end result of that was a wallpaper named yaalw (yet another arch linux wallpaper). After that I started to think that this could look nice as a theme for a login manager and since I was using SLiM, it was kind of natural to do a SLiM theme. Currently named yaalst (yet another arch linux slim theme), but that is probably going to be changed to yaalt (yet another arch linux theme) since I now have created a GDM theme with the same wallpaper in a similar style.

Those look great and thanks for the work.
It's great when there is an image set (theme) provided.

I have done a svg version in inkscape. I don't know why the transparent section only works in gimp, inkscape, gdm and gnome (wallpaper). It doesn't look so nice in kde and firefox. I guess the problem is that they probably have different ways of rendering svg. Will look in to it, in the meantime, here is some updated versions of the wallpaper based on the new SVG version. I haven't done anything to 1200x1024 since it needs some extra work. Didn't look that nice after rescaling the svg version. It will apear in a near future...

Had some problems with the stripes so I was thinking of relese the svg version in a stripe free edition. However my problem found a solution and I now have a svg version with stripes. Since I don't know if everone wants stripes, I have provided a stripe free edition.

I am glad you all like it so far!
I will probably be working on a similar theme for gnome-splash, ksplash and a svg version which works in KDE.
