I've got three network interfaces (two ethernet, one wireless) bonded using netctl in active-backup mode.
I'd like to be able to unbind one of these interfaces from their pci module (using /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:00:00.0/driver/unbind) to link to vfio-pci (for a vm).
However, when I unbind one of the ethernet interfaces, the bond0 interface disappears from ifconfig as well as the other ethernet network interfaces and I lose connectivity.
Is there a way to prevent the bond0 interface from being removed when I remove one of it's bonded interfaces?
