Hi,
I have installed KDE Plasma 5 as DE but my problem is that I can't manage to have numlock set on at boot. More precisely, at SDDM login screen, numlock is active and I can input digits normally but once KDE session is launched, numlock is inactive and I have to type twice on the associated key. More, in kcm, I have set "numlock at kde start" at "on" in the keyboard section. So, KDE just doesn't care about my setting. I tried to make a script in .config/autostart which uses numlockx to set off ant then on numlock but It does not work.
Could somebody help ?

This is probably extremely unhelpful, but it works fine here =/
edit: actually, I just noticed the LED on my keyboard is OFF, but if I type on the numpad, it works fine. Double tapping on the key makes the LED light up again.

If I could just have LED issue, I would be happy but...
I have ever tried to write it in /etc/sddm.conf but it does not change anything.

Yeah, I can confirm this, and it has been like that since forever. NumLock is actually On, it's just the damn LED that doesn't turn on when it's supposed to. What's worse, sometimes LED will turn off at random, for no reason.
And it's not hardware, it's like that since KDE3 days on any machine I've ever used.

It's weird really. The LED goes from "on" on boot -> "off" in sddm -> "on" on kde start -> "off" some time after the boot finishes. But numpad still works as one... 0123456789

What works best for me is KDE Control Panel>input>keyboard and activate numlock (I had no luck with the /etc/sddm.conf method)
