[SOLVED]Trouble with Cups and Cannon MG3220

In that past I had the printer working on Arch Linux using Cups 1.7.2 and gutenprint. However since then I've had to reinstall my Arch Linux. I've currently been trying to setup the printer for the past few days with no luck.

I'm current using Cups 2.0.4-1 and gutenprint 5.2.10-1. I am also using system-config-printer, I am able to find and add my printer using this program. However when I go to print the test page it says "There was an error during the CUPS operation: 'client-error-document-format-not-supported'."

I am really lost on what to do, can anyone lead me in the correct direction?

Out of curiosity I booted Xubuntu 14.04 from a live usb, and tried printing from that and it worked just fine.

Therefore I downgraded cups and libcups to 1.7.2-1, and loaded the cupsd.conf file from the Ubuntu.

However I'm still getting the same error.

If there is any other information I should add to help, please let me know. And big thanks to anyone who can help me out

EDIT: The wiki recommends I install foomatic and use the drivers, I have foomatic installed but no luck

I installed cups-bjnp restarted the computer, readded the printer, and no luck. Same errors.

OK. Now add the printer as something like "bjnp://192.168.0.xxx:8611"

Hey thanks for you all help.

I was able to get the printer working without cups-bjnp

All I did was uninstall cups, remove all of the config files, and reinstalled it. I'm embarrassed to admit it worked.
