wifi-menu problem on Live CD

when trying to connect to the itnernet using wifi-menu on the live cd I get the error message:

"job for netctl@wlp.... .cservice failed because the control process excited with error code"

Before that a message briefly pops up "ICEEE.... arrived at non-free entry in non-full queue 0" or something alike

It is possible that another networking service may already be running (e.g. dhcpcd). Check this first, and then disable and stop the service if necessary.

If so, then it may be that your wireless device is already up, meaning netctl will not touch it. To set it down, use the command:

# ip link set <your wireless device> down

Hope this helps!
